You may remember a blog from just over a year ago about two special dogs that we have been sponsoring for some time from Dogs Trust (details of the previous blog can be found at the bottom of this page).

Here is some more info on Sidney and Belle

Dog Trust try to re home all suitable dogs. Dogs that are not suitable for re homing or need a very specific home or specialist care are looked after for an unlimited amount of time with the help of sponsorship.

We were thrilled to receive a letter from Dogs Trust recently letting us know that Belle has been re homed at long last after spending over 5 years at the Dogs Trust, just goes to show that patience often pays off!

Belle's new owner doesn't have any other dogs and so will be able to dedicate lots of time and attention to her, she also lives fairly close to the centre so I'm sure she will go back to the Dogs Trust for the odd visit or two and to see Sara, Belle's carer whilst she was at the Trust. Good Luck, we hope you will be very happy in your new home!

Boatshed are now sponsoring a new dog at the Dogs Trust - Samuel, he is nearly 3 years old, he is a Springer Spaniel and would make the perfect Police sniffer dog, he doesn't like to give his toys back though, so that might prove to be a problem in the Police force!

Introducing Samuel!
